Congratulations on your pregnancy. A new and exciting time of your life is opening up for you. This is a nurturing yoga class and a special and safe space for your practice. Kirstie has been trained in pre natal exercise and understands certain conditions that may apply only to pregnancy, such as pelvic girdle pain, and will work with your body safely during the months of increased relaxin in your body. This is the hormone that softens your body leading up to the birth.
The focus on this class is gentle stretches and movements to help ease your body through pregnancy and prepare for labour, working with the breath and lots of relaxation. We'll use visualisation to help prepare for pregnancy, labour and motherhood.
